Not so alone in the holy land!

One of my fave things about the internet is how small it makes the world feel.

I love making friends from all over the globe and sharing in their lives.

One of these is a lovely lady by the name of Ramona who lives in Israel.

 Her blog Alone in the Holy Land is a very touching, honest account of her life.

At times, thanks to her raw honesty, her story really touches me and I feel massive empathy for her.

Sometimes when I can see another woman / mother struggling it can be frustrating that all you can do to offer support is in the form of a bloggy comment.

I was so touched this morning to receive an email from Ramona letting me know that she has given me a Sunshine  award!

It is nice to know that from all the way over here in Australia I can connect with and be of some support to a wonderful lady in Israel.
